- Laura Waters Hinson
Producer/Director, Editor
Laura Waters Hinson is a filmmaker and photographer based in Washington, DC. She is the founder of Image Bearer Pictures and recently launched the Living Bricks Campaign, a multi-media viewer project to support reconciliation efforts in Rwanda. Laura received a master of fine arts degree in filmmaking from American University and has worked in the past as the director of creative arts at an Anglican church, as a development coordinator for the Discovery Health Channel, and as a research assistant for MSNBC host Chris Matthews. Laura is currently engaged in a nationwide screening tour, presenting As We Forgive in such places as the U.S. Congress, the State Department, Library of Congress, the World Bank and at various universities and institutions. Most recently, Laura served on the crew of 14 Women, an acclaimed documentary on the lives of the female U.S. Senators, directed by Mary Lambert. Laura also shoots freelance photography and is married to Tommy. They live in a row house on Capitol Hill. - Kasey Kirby

Kasey is a producer/editor for National Geographic in Washington, DC. He is currently pursuing a master of arts in filmmaking at American University. Kasey has directed and edited a number of non-profit organizational videos and most recently completed a feature-length documentary on musician Brad Corrigan. He is a 2003 graduate of Bethel College. - Jeannie Hall Hagopian
Production AssistantA 2004 graduate of Clemson University, Jeannie is a former Capitol Hill staffer and lobbying assistant. She is a teacher in the Washington, DC area. She had no clue that a stint in filmmaking was in store when she agreed to be one of Laura’s roommates! - Patrick Meade Jones
1st AC, PhotographerPatrick is a 2007 graduate of Loyola Marymount University School of Film and Television. He resides in Los Angeles, CA and works as a Film Loader (Local 600) on commercials and features. In his free time he shoots independent films and music videos. - Emmanuel Kwizera
Translator, DriverEmmanuel is a graduate of Butare University in Rwanda where he studied political history, including history of the genocide. Fluent in four languages, Emmanuel has a passion for assisting Westerners who want to help his country. A man of many talents, Emmanuel is the president and founder of the Living Hope Foundation, a sponsorship program for orphans whose fathers were pastors. - Thomas R. Hinson
Associate Producer
In addition to his role as Associate Producer for As We Forgive, Thomas Hinson is an ordained Anglican minister currently serving as the rector of the Church of the Advent in Washington D.C. He is also the co-founder of The Living Bricks Campaign, the viewer action campaign to promote further reconciliation efforts in Rwanda. Before that, he worked for several years as a professional mental health counselor in Salem, MA where he specialized in trauma recovery, addictions, and anxiety/depression issues. During this time, Tommy founded an intentional community house for theology graduate students focused on outreach to underprivileged populations. He has also pursued doctoral work in clinical psychology. His current interests include the integration of psychology and Christian spirituality, intentional community development, and the role of the arts in shaping culture.
